Today I celebrated the 4th of July in Japan. Nobody did anything different, nobody knew why I`d want to have a party. Hell, it`s Tuesday. I tried to tell some friends about it. "Today is America`s birthday... America used to be a part of England but now it`s free... etc.." Nobody knew a damn thing and frankly they were only partically interested to hear about it.

Guys, what I`m trying to say is this. Living outside of America can rock at times but today... on Christmass... on Easter... I`d rather be back home than any other place on earth. Country Roads... Take me home...

Enjoy your parties, BBQs, Bros and community.

America is the best country on the planet. We are all lucky to be Americans. Our government may do things that we wouldn`t but American people are still the best in the world... and the people in other countries know it.

Japanese people may not know when America`s birthday is but they love us just the same. They love Americans above all others, as they should.

I guess what I`m trying to say is "Don`t forget how lucky you are"
