TweetI did an impromtu local (non sanctioned) bench meet over the weekend and here's how it went.
I weighed in @ 195 (198 weight class). I opened at 455 (3 whites) then went 475 (3 whites but should have taken a bigger jump) and 515 was a miss, I have a bad habit of throwing the weight up over my head and it went into the uprights. It felt good but I just need some serious damn work on my form and setup.

TweetThanks, I'm still planning on doing a meet in Sept, but can't make up my mind if I just want to focus on my bench (my weakest lift) and enter as bench only or if I want to go ahead and do a full meet. I'm just kinda burnt out on squatting and pulling heavy all the time and thought about doing some bodybuilding type stuff for lower body and put my focus on the bench. I need to make my damn mind up soon though cause I only have 14-15 training weeks to get my shit together.
