My doc told me that I was on the verge of getting it. he said it's because of all the iron in your diet. So try to cut back on red meats and stick to more chicken, whey, some fish, and turkey.....etc... At least that's what he told me to do and it worked great. Went back and my results were back to normal. Only reason I went in the first place is b/c my jaw was getting tight when I was chewing. So the first thing he asked was what my diet was like. He already knew I was lifting and most likely had high iron intake everyday. When I told him of the protein selections in my diet, he nearly flipped. Couldn't believe how much red meat I was eating...I guess I hadn't thought of it myself either.

Anyways, just ask your doc about it....he might recomend the same thing...but it certainly improved my blood test numbers dramatically......

      Good luck bro....Shiner

Good luck man, I heard that gout can be pretty painful at times. It's treatable through medication though, just one more thing to deal with.

I told you to quit letting those 400 pound women ride you. See, now you have arthritis of the chest.

I would probably go to two different docs to get two different opinions. Let them tell you what they think, then compare the two. If they differ greatly, then go get a third opinion. Over 280,000 people die every year from mal practice in this country. It is worth the cost to make sure you get the right diagnosis before they start pumping you full of drugs, which you know they will. That what docs do, the treat symptoms, they usually don't correct problems.

With that said, you may want to go see a acupuncturist too. There will be no drugs and it's a natural alternative. I personally have never been to one but I have firends who have went and they no longer have asthma, migranes and other chronic ailments they used to have.

I hope you are ok bro, but don't take just one doc's word for it.
I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

The damage was probably already done. Make sure you tell your doctor how much you used to drink. Make sure your honest with him/her though so you can get a proper diagnosis.
