I'm having a rough ass month! My business finally took off this month and I've made a lot of money, but of course with tons of business comes tons of stress! There's been problems left and right and whenever things seem to go right, there's another problem waiting. Sure I know it's part of business but for almost a week straight, 24 hrs a day I'm having non stop panic attacks, and breathing problems. I'm constantly gasping for air and don't have the damn health insurance to get meds to calm me down. It sucks because I've been diagnosed before with very high abnormal amounts of adrenaline, so things effect my body and mind 10X as fast as the average person. I just wish there was some way to freaking calm down. I've tried everything working out, meditation, natural pills, every mind trick you can think of and no results!

Then if that wasn't bad enough with all of that stress I've lost a lot of weight! I have been trying to eat 6 meals a day, and if that's not possible atleast 5 meals. With doing that and eating big portions I've managed to lose 20lbs IN 3 MONTHS!!! I don't know what the hell is wrong with me! I'm wondering if there's some underlying health problem that could cause weight loss like that, or if it's just stress? I recently had blood tests done and besides borderline high cholesterol (151) I was healthy as can be. It just sucks because all of my hardwork is going down the drain, and I feel like my self worth is going with all that I've worked so hard for! I hate sounding like a whining little *****, but It's been very freaking rough!

Thanks bro. It's just the whole losing weight thing that's the final straw that's putting me over the edge! I can't seem to gain it back no matter what I do. Plus I have to be careful how I eat to gain weight because of my cholesterol! It's like a catch 22!

151 borderline high chol?, lol! Mine is 200 bro, and iam fine. 151 is not bad at all. You need to do some stress management, you can take some classes on it or there are books you can buy on it. If you have high adrenaline you prob shouldn't be taking aas, that is if you are or were in the past. Caffiene, or any other stimulants will increase stress and panic attacks. Aside from taking meds, you can try taking Holy Basil. It is an herb in capsule form that you can buy at any good vitamin store. It supposedly helps balance cortisol levels. Id take two caps ed one in the am and another in pm. Also i think 5-HTP is supposed to help. You can also get that at the vitamin store as well.

I am having some of the same probs as you bro. I just started taking 5HTP as reccomended by Prion, he had good results with it. I am on day 4 or so at 50mgs a day. I'll let ya know if it helps me any. I am am what they used to call a type "a" personality. I guess they don't call it that anymore but you get the idea. But anyways, I just moved, I hate my job and my wife just had our baby and he won't sleep at night so I feel your pain man!

HAhahah! My wife would have my balls!

I've tried those books and I don't have the patience to read them. Gotta love having hyper attention deficit disorder! I don't take any steroids or enhancers at all. I'm all natural all 180lbs of me < yeah right!

I know things go up and down. It's just frustrating going back to my "TWIG" state! I guess I need to just buy as much food as possible and eat like a pig.

I'll try those pills that your talking about mick. So they reduce cholesterol?

As for rolling a fatty I'm the worst when it comes to that. Years ago when I was a teenager I did that stuff for a little while and freaked out each time. I always felt like people were waiting to kill me, and like I was in a Friday the 13th movie or something. My friends would always say "I don't know what the f*@K is wrong with him, we had the same shit and we're not freaking out!" Guess I'm too much of a hyper freak to take that crap. So even that wasn't an escape. Maybe I'm supposed to be a superhero of some sort, and my adrenaline is a sign of my super powers!?!

Sorry to hear that bro. Just take it one day at a time. Like Mick and the othes said 151 Cholesterol is not borderline. Anything above 200 is borderline. Mines was 207 at one time and I'm 25 yrs old. You don't have anything to fear regarding your Cholesterol levels. Anyways just keep eating man. You'll gain the weight back eventually!!!

Well, it is great that business is good. Bet you worked very hard to get there.

Alot of the fast brain thinking is just PROJECTING INTO THE FUTURE .

ie, it's alot of brain time spent on "What if's" and you're trying to predict the future, and prepare yourself and do things to prevent them

so, alot of emotional energy is mis-used, plus, usually alot of stuff time wise, spent on stuff that never happens

best bet is to try and set-up some type of problem management system, just a guess yet you're probably solving stuff left and right willy nilly and along the way forgettin a few things or not following up, etc., which increases the stress

it's tough yet, try and strive for some structure, like 10-12 phone calls, 2-4 paperwork, etc. , I know it's hard and things get in the way, yet, it tends to make things more manageable

i'm guessin with dave, alot of his stuff is managing the problems, having others do alot of the leg work, when it's all your own you have to do both, another jugging act

One thing, for sure, is it is a LEARNING AND GROWING EXPERIENCE

You've succeeded before, and high probability you will do it here also.

      hoped that helped
      good luck
