TweetI have them on my Mini Cooper S and I've never noticed them being yellowish in color - always a bright white with a slight blue hue.

TweetI have `em..and sometimes when I put them on they are not that bright blue instead they are realy clear yellowish collor..
And sometimes they are blue right away..
Also when you distance yourself from the car..you can see that they are blue`ish..?
Why is this...
Do they need to be blue all the time or. ??

TweetNever noticed them appear yellowish. Are they factor bulbs or aftermarket?
A few years ago before all the new cars came out with them...I and my import tuner friends would buy the Xeon Superwhite bulbs to replace our factor bulbs. They were more blue than bright white and we got pulled over and I got a $40 ticket for having illegal equipment. Fast forward 5 years later and all the new cars have the stinking blue lights. I wish there was a way to fight the ticket now!!!
TweetI think they are factory xenon headlights..not the ones you see online or ebay for $40..Originally Posted by supasaiyan99

The thing is.. my lights get somethimes blue.. but like I see that they are more kinda white crystal clear white or little bit of yellow..
but when youre far away they appear to be blue.`ish.
TweetOh ok I see what you mean. That's normal. I have noticed that some cars it changes from white, yellow, blue depending on the angle they turn or if they hit a bump. I've watched cars in my rearview with their lights switching colors and stuff. Sometimes it even looks purplish (mostly on BMW's).Originally Posted by Diggi

Any idea how can I replace em in case they burn out.. or get stolen.. is there a serial number for the actual xenon bulb that I would need.. or something that I can identify which xenon do I even have..

TweetYou may also just go to one of the import tuner shops in your area and they can order it for you.
