TweetNope, not me.
TweetJust wondering how many of yall carry concealed handguns, and if so, what is your choice of firearm ??
I plan on getting my CCW as soon as I get some extra cash and a Saturday to do the course.

This is what I keep next to my bedside, until I can carry legally.

I LOVE BOOBOOKITTY...
TweetI got my concealed carry permit "Unlimited" in my state. My carry weapon that I have 95% of the time is my Taurus .45 cal w/ hollow points.
TweetI've known a lot of people that carry hand guns, but I did not know that you could do that legally. Is it legal in Chicago?
TweetI have a concealled permit in PA. I carry a .38 Taurus. At home, I have a .357 S&W and a .22 S&W.

TweetNot sure about Illinois laws, but its perfectly legal with the proper permit and instruction here in North Carolina. My Glock is registered with ATF and I have the purchase permit for it, however I cannot carry it concealed unless I obtain another permit which is 10 times more extensive as far as backround checking. Usually takes about 4-6 weeks to get it once you've completed the class. A purchase permit here takes about a day depending the county you reside in, and only costs 5 dollars.

TweetI got certified, but never got the permit, lol! I have a Taurus 38 Special and a Sig. Hey, Rip you plan on doin some serious damage, lol?
TweetThats weird how you need a purchase permit to even buy a handgun. Anyone who is 21 in my state can buy a handgun no matter what. But to carry it concealed one must pass an extensive background check with city state and local agencies as well as ATF, FBI.
TweetMick, god forbid if I ever have to use any of my guns for personal defense or to protect a loved one I want one shot and no questions asked Job done. I had to stock up on these hollow points a couple of weeks ago b/c the company that makes them no longer makes them in a .45 cal because they are too dangerous.
TweetYeah I kinda knew that you couldn't carry concealed in Illinois, especially Chicago. Thanks Testrip7. It looks easy to get a permit though
TweetOnly prob with that Rip i can foresee is if you were to shoot an intruder, lets say, and the relatives take action, they can say you had intent to kill, because you were using hollow points instead of the regular casings.? Just a thought.
