yeah, actually three small cuts from the belly button down to my groin. They put in the surgical mesh onto my abdominal wall and attached it with 6 titanium surgical staples.

that good ..as you can see recovery time is much faster than if they had fileted you open like a fish...

Definately true, My surgeon told me that catching any hernia early is the key. That way your recovery time is much shorter and the procedure can usually be done laproscopically (sp.) Ive never had a problem my whole life and then one day of dead lifts and squats like normal and bam there it was an hour later.. Just be careful if it is going to happen there is nothing you can do to prevent it except things that arn't feasable to me. ex...quit lifting weights, dont lift anything heavier than a milk jug. Thats crap just continue going on lifting and if it happens then get it fixed. No big deal; from first hand experience

Diet is not what it should be. Ive been eating semi-well if that is a condition, not too bad. I was planning on starting my fall cycle the first of Oct. but obviously that is not going to happen. Im going to get back in the gym next week for sure b/c the surgeon told me to hold out this week until I see him again on Fri. and then ill give it a month and a half or so all natty and start my cycle once my tendons and joints get back to full strength. Ive been off for almost a year and going all natural with good results so Im definately looking forward to it.

      Oh yeah, btw

badasz, mine was an inguinal hernia repair. I too thought it would be a week or so and then I could work out again but I had some blood or fluid from surgery drain down into my testicles and that is why its been three weeks now. I wish I could have been in the gym sooner but its all good, I havn't lost all that much..
