With any luck, our President will be able to appoint supreme court (THERE's an oxymoron) that will be able to overturn Roe vs. Wade.

Roe v Wade will not be overturned no matter who is on the court. It has to do with privacy issues and if that gets overturned then it will open up too many other issues. To me it should be voted by the people of each state and have it be a state law. I always found it funny that some people who are aganist abortion would kill the doctors.

Tweetyes she will, but that makes it MUCH worse on her. what if its a little girl....would you want your young daughter to have to go through with the pregnancy....i know i wouldn't.....i actually went to an abortion clinic to be supportive of a friend...when i got there it was quite sicknening. from the life loving protestors that are actually the most violent people i ever came across to the sick people inside that use this as birth control. there was one woman who was there for her forth time...really sick and i'm sure stuff like that is what makes your argument stronger....but if this woman actually had those kids they would have been monsters....i'm sorry if that sounds cold cause i feel bad even saying it but i think thats a real problem...i'm not sure how to fix stuff like that but i don't think gettin rid of abortion is the answer. i think one of the main reasons i am pro abortion is because of the lack of answers anti-abortion people give with their argument.. we in society have major issues surrounding this topic and no one says anything but hey this is wrong....ok then what do we do then. i think a small fraction will even think about adoption let alone do it. and also don't get me wrong when i discuss this with people of your opinion...i'm not sayin your right or wrong...i completely understand your point of view and part of me even agrees with you. i just think that alot of people live in la la land. they say things are wrong and they should stop but i feel they look at this stuff from unrealistic eyes. like we should deal with things as if we lived in a much more moral world.....but we don't.....we live in a horrible world and i rather deal with things from that aspect

A former girlfriend had an abortion before I even knew that she was pregnant and believe me when I tell you it's the worst feeling in the world to know that someone had your child inside of them and out of pure selfishness had the baby "removed". To answer your question, if it were my daughter even at a young age, I'd want her to go through the pregnancy if for nothing else as a learning experience. Maybe she'd think twice before dropping them the next time. Of course I wouldn't want the kid adopted either, I'd have to take care of the little tyke. No matter what pains adoption may cause (wondering where's the kid, who has him/her, etc...) it couldn't possibly compare with the knowledge that as a result of your decision where once there was life, there is no more. I see no justification for the killing of an innocent. I may not be the most moral man on the planet (not even close) but I know that in a childs face you can clearly see the face of God.

the la la land comment was not directed at you....sorry if it seemed that way. and what i meant with the daughter thing was what if your daughter was raped and got pregnant....then how would you want it to be handled....if my daughter got pregnant from havin consentual sex then i agree with you i would do the same.

i agree with ya bro....i support capitol punishment... i'm pro choice not pro abortion. take that situation that me and kite discussed...i don't think a person that feels the way i do should have the choice taken away from them

Follow the logic here, a full-term baby...40 weeks in gestation, full term, in some parts of the country it is legal to have an abortion. Its the real nice "partial-birth abortion". youve heard about it, where the "doctor" inserts a 12" long needle into the base of the baby's skull then aspirates (sucks) the area of its brain responsible for breathing and cardiac function out through the needle, causing instant death. Now, for all the "pro-choicers"..what is the difference if that same baby had just been born? Prior to birth the baby was alive, could hear it's mother's voice before, just as it was immediately post birth? I dont get the pro-choice logic. The baby is a living being, not just a mass of cells. Its interesting to me that one can kill a baby 10 minutes before its born in some cases and it's "choice", but 10 minutes after and its murder. I dont think Im being extreme here, I think Im concerned about the well-being of our most precious and most defenseless.

As far as the whole rape thing, I wonder what the statistics are in terms of "innocent under-age girls getting raped and then turning up prenant". I would think that that group was a very very small minority. Even in those cases, the baby is still an innocent bystander, if you will, in the whole mess and does not deserve a death penalty. Do you pro-choicers think the innocent bystanders deserve a death sentence?
