TweetI want to change my avatar, I downsized it to under 100 pixles, but now it looks like the size (bytes) is too big. How do I change that? (I'm using Adobe Photo Deluxe)
Thank you!!!

TweetTo down size, go into MS Paint and click on Atributes. Select the demintions in Pixels. Look at which number is the biggest. Divide 100 by that number and it will give you your percent reducution. Change that field to 100 and then multiply your other number (the smaller one at the beginning) by your percent reduction and then enter that number. You pic will still have the correct aspect ratio and will be at maxium size possible.
Ex. I have a picture. Width is 629 and the Height is 548.
100/629 = ~.16 Now enter 100 in the Width Field
.16 X 548 = 87.68 Now enter that number in the Height Field and hit enter.
You now have the maximum size (100x100) while maintaining your original ascpect ratio.
Then as someone mentioned, save it as a .jpeg
I figure everyone has Paint so call this universal instructions..lol
