Tweeti went and got a newspaper this morning. i was looking at adds for digital cams. i hinted to my wife that i wanted a new one since my son put our old one in the toilet when he was a baby for christmas. i told her i wanted a 4.0 mp camera that could take mpegs and had a minimum of a 4X zoom. she told me that my brother in law told her a 2.0 mp cam is fine and i would never use the mpeg feature. i said i dont care what he said i'm tellin you what i want. she flew off the handle and said i ruined my christmas present. how the hell was i supposed to know she bought me a camera for christmas. i told her i was just hinting what i wanted so i wouldnt be dissapointed in something that that dosnt meet my needs and hurt her feelings by returning it and getting what i want. this pissed her off even more. i said i was sorry i didnt mean to piss her off but now she was in silent mode. its almost that time for her visitor so i am not suprised. i dont feel i am in the wrong yet i apologized anyway. should i just take the damn camera she got me without the features i want and be unhappy with its performance?

Yup i completely agree with you... get her a bicycle instead and see if it makes a difference for her. You should get what you want for Christmas, besides how much effort is it for her to return the other and buy the one you want.... probably with your own money like in my case.

Tweeti'm with ya jipped. its def a no win situation but i'm sure she just acted pist cause she was disappointed. once she sits on it for a while i'm sure she will be fine well at least not to pist. its just one of those situations that you could not have avoided, i would apologize for her being upset but i would never apologize for what you said. you did not say anything wrong, she should be upset with the situation but not with you. just show that you understand why she is upset and for that you are sorry but how the hell were you to know.

Tweeti see where you are coming from bro. i'm giving advice on how i would handle the situation cause i know my wife would be understanding as long as i was understanding of her side and feelings. i am def not saying to brush it off and say "hey i'm not wrong" i just think that some situations are not about who is right or wrong, especially when feelings are involved. and for me and my wife if we can understand each others feelings and points of view that is usually enough to drop the fight. especially since nothing was done intentional! just my opinion

she is very reasonable and Lord knows understanding. except for one week or so every month then it every man for himself and i can run faster than our son. i kissed her ass on everthing else. i painted for crying out loud. i would rather be raped by a moose than paint! i even said i like the color (LIE!)
