TweetIt is the Comanche. It is a reconnaissance helicopter. Boeing designed the copter itself, while Lockheed designed the night vision and target acquisition system. I know that Lockheed with other companies put the weapons system on it. The issue is that it was not originally designed for a weapons system. They have been having a hard time keeping it in the air since placing the weapons on it. Problem is that the Army says I want this, then when it is almost finished they say oh yeah and we also want this this and this.Originally posted by swellin

When it is perfected it will be one of the coolest helicopters ever. But don’t be confused - The apache will still be the bad ass in the air!
