TweetOk, My roomate is a dumbass. Well, he's one of those people that was a jock in High school, fairly good at sports, and still prides himself on High School accomplishments. He's your stereotypical "dumb jock".

A few months back, he got drunk in a bar that we go to all the time, and went home with one of the waitresses. Well, she's missing part of her arm, and I had a field day with it! I made jokes about it until I was blue in face, as did he, and every last one of our friends.

After a while I realized he was starting to like her, so I backed off, and didn't say anything else.

Friday night I took a date to a Hallowen party, and I overheard this little one-armed ***** telling my date (who incidentally was the only one at the party who would listen to the girl talk) that she was too pretty and smart to be with me, and that I've got a drug problem.

Well, that poses 2 problems, because that means that my roomate had told her about my former drug dependancy, and that was kept a secret until now.

Anyway, after the party she came to my house with my roomate, and got in bed with him! I told her she was never welcome in my house again, and she needed to drive home as soon as she was sober enough.

Now my roomate is moving out, because he says that's his room that he rents and anybody come go in there.

Would you let somebody stay in your house 3-4 times a week if they disrespected you like that? I understand his point about the rent, but I'm not gonna feel uncomfortable in my own house when we meet in the hall or something!

Tweetgf's are always a sensitive issue... i'm now looking for a new place myself cuz my fuking landlord doesn't like my gf staying over once or twice a fuking week... i put up with lots of his shit in the past, but as soon as he mentioned my gf i said that's it.. no more...
the fuk has no answer when i ask him why.. he just feels like it... he never ever sees her (maybe like once a month) she's always in my room.. she fukin washes his dishes every once in a while when we want to make a dinner or somehitng... and things like that... fkin aaaaaargh..... makes me go nuts every time i think about it.....
but like i said i'm getting a new place hopefully soon, and i'll be all by myself...

Tweetonce again i see your point. i was the one who owned the property as well. but he lives there so you really should not hold that over his head. reguardless of what he pays, he pays. and i'm guessing your the one who let him live there so cheap. he is an adult and he should be treated like one when it comes to living situations. i would be pist about him opening his mouth but thats a different issue and you should pull him aside for that. i hated my roomates wife and she pretty much lived with us for 3 years before we both got married. if i ever had a problem with her i would tactfully tell him. and even then i had to choose my words very carefully. as soom as you mention a guys girls he is gonna be on defense immediately

With that said, I think it was shitty that she had a big mouth and was spreading your "baggage" - but you should have respected your friend enough to say something to him in private before making a scene...you stooped to their level.
