i saw this guy last week on the leg press machine. take the 45 lb plts lower storage rack place them on the top storage rack we are talking like 3 plts each side then he started his workout with no weight it looked to me like he was struggling so i walked over and nicely explained that he was not using any weight other than the platform he just turned really red and walked to the locker room,,...i guess he got more of a arm work out ..have not seen him since.

I hate guys who come to the gym looking to pick up girls. Drives me batty as they tie up all the good equipment trying to look tough. 1/2 of them won't even break a sweat as that's not attractive

I also love the people who "Circuit Train" in the gym.... They start at 1 weight machine, do 1 set, then move over the the next machine until they've hit every machine.

And you've gotta love the cardio junkies (usually girls). Why pay money to run on the treadmill and use the bikes when you can do it ouside in the fresh air for free (and enjoy the scenery as you're doing it)?

These guys aren't new but they are everywhere. It's the form destroyers. They're all sloppy and out of breath from changing the pin in the pull down and then they start doing what, at first, looks like it should be a wide grip pull down, but really are doing seated lower back extentions. The dude swings so far back I swear he's gonnna hit his head on this machine behind him. Then he grabs the E-Z curl bar and does curls using his hips! The owner of my gym actually gives a trophy to the member with the worst form every year as a joke.

I saw a guy actually get on one of those curling machines backwards and try to pick the handles up behind his head.Dont know the exact name of the machine, rarely use any of them except the cables.

The number one thing that drives me nuts in the gym are people that curl in the fuking squat rack. If you are going to curl in the squat rack, your ass better be curling at least 225!

One of the things that I find amusing are guys who will put too much weight on the bar while benching. They will be just grunting and yelling a way not even breaking a sweat while there spoter is on the verge of death from doing upright rows with way too much weight. I had a guy ask me for a spot the other night. I was like, "sure man, no sweat". So we walk over to the bench and he's got 315 on the bar, so I figure he's ok. He then says, "ok - I'm only going for 1 rep". I was like umm...ok. So he brings the weight down to his chest and it just stops cold. I calmly told him to push - the bar wasn't gonna budge. At this point I was pissed. So I just yanked the bar up and racked it. I walked away without saying a word to the guy. He hasn't even made eye contact with me ever since.

I've got ton of stories, but I don't feel like typing them.
The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

i thought of one thing that pissed me off.....and it was something the owner did....to deal with the squat rack and bench problem(too many people wanting them at a time), he went and bought more of both....great....but the dumbass didn't buy any extra bars so they were useless!
