TweetHis new home
TweetI get home from work today and as usual the dogs are up to something, I hear a bunch of barking and yelping and Birds squawking, all kinds of shit.
So I look out and see my two dogs getting their asses kicked by a couple of mockingbirds, it was hilarious, the birds were swooping down and pecking my dogs one after the other, like dive bombing at them.
I realized what was going on, a baby bird had fallen out of a nest and was sitting there on the ground and my dogs were trying to get to it but the parent birds wouldn't let them. So I run out there to save the baby bird and I get my ass handed to me as well by the birds, they would swoop down and like put their claws in my hair and shit and my back. LOL
So I managed to get the baby and I put him in a container with at towel in it and put it at the base of the tree where he fell out, the dogs cannot get to him now because its on my deck. I was watching and now the mother bird brings the baby bird food, I guess she will feed him until he is old enough to fly away. I also fed him some oatmel with an eye dropper. He's cute.

poor little guy - good lookin' out man.
The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

Tweetawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww that's sweet.
btw... i love your dogs.... next dog i'm getting is gonna be a weimie
TweetThose dogs look like they just took an ass beating. Same thing happened to me at my sister's except a damn cat was trying to get to the birds. First it climbed the tree and hung on for dear life after we pulled it down. Then it sneaked on the deck and made a leap for the tree and someone grabbed it. The mother Robin was kicking tha cat's ass on the ground so we stuck the dirty cat back into it's cage.
TweetI have newfound respect for you bro, that was a kick ass thing to do........more people do dumb shit stories, when I was a kid - and yeah, I've always been an animal rights type - my step brothers made me watch them run over a baby bird with a lawnmower. Not funny. I remember screaming and begging them to stop. They didn't even get into trouble for that shit, either.
Karma's a ***** though, they'll get theirs one day.
TweetThat's the cutest story! I love baby animals! Thanks for helping it out!
TweetI would have eaten the bird. As a snack, since it's small.
Tweetyou should of got a camera(video) and send it to AFV
good looking out K
TweetIt's a wives tale, you can touch the babies and the mother will come back. As a kid we played with bunnies and baby robins... the mothers always kept feeding the babies. I just think that it was a way to keep kids away from what we were doing. LOLOriginally posted by teekahty
Your dogs should be a frigging sitcom brah. Nice Job . Make sure the mom still takes care of the baby bird though , I heard they kind of disown them when they are touched by human hands . could be a Urban legend though . Better keep the eye dropper handy or learn how to rugurgitate.
Tweeti had to do that a couple of times too, i got three huge german shepards and once they were barking and making alot of noise, when i went outside to check it out, they were barking at a little bird that fell down from the tree. I had to bring it inside and take care of it, hehehehe.
