Two cervical discs removed C4-C5, C5-C6 fused the vertebrae together with cadaver bone. Should be about 8 weeks before I can run, about 6 months before I can lift.

TweetNo meds, believe it or not, it doesn't hurt. The worse pain was when they pulled the Foley tube out of me. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a thin catheter which is inserted into the end of the penis until it hits into the bladder. They do this to monitor your kidney functions and make sure that all the fluids they are pumping into you are comming out ok. The nurse woke me up at 6:00 AM Saturday morning by yanking this thing out of me. It's about 12" to 18" long and when they do it it feels like a mile long! The thought alone is something that makes me grit my teeth as I type this!Originally posted by Sachet
