If he got the ticket and he caused the accident, then you could get a personal injury attorney(not the TV /billboard kind) and sue his insurance company for a bodily injury. If you got the ticket, then you will have to fight it in traffic court. But unless you can prove that he caused the accident, you might not have a leg to stand on.
