My ferritin levels are 28 ng/mL which is low normal. I would like to get them up a little to around 50. I got iron injectable . To get iron levels up how much iron do I need each day?
      IM or SQ?

The iron was easy to dose. it is 100mg/ml. It is water base so on a slin pin I drew a 10 mark which is 10mg. The stuff is black so it is easy to see in the pin.
Painless SQ. I am going to continue with 1omg daily until my next blood test then I ill shift it up or down. 10mg is is a decent low dose.

Do you take vitamin C? If not just taking vitamin C and eating red meat, broccoli and kale might help. C helps make ingested iron bioavailable.

be careful messing with your iron levels man. it can mess you up if you get them way to high. if you cant do it with jipped suggestion, i would work with a doc to get it corrected.
