TweetYikes! Hope recovery goes well. Age definitely catches us. Nothing really heals anymore it seems. The normal aches and pains are almost debilitating lol.
TweetJust had 3 anchors put in my shoulder. Tore my supraspinatus cuff tendon and my bicep. Have about 9 -12 months recovery. Im at month 4 doing great

PAIN DON'T HURT
TweetMan that's a lot to go through. Glad to hear you're doing good though bro. 9-12 months sounds like a long time, but you'll get through it before you know it. Month 4 is down and hopefully each month gets better and better.
Age does suck lol. I know as I get older things don't heal, or function as they used to. I guess the best we can do is train around it and keep moving forward. Trying to stay as healthy as possible.
TweetThats good to get it done if you can. Wish I could do that. Im rollin the dice with the PRF injections but not sure they are working. Nothin worse than torn up shouldxers keepin ya from working out like before
TweetDamn! Look on the bright side. You are gonna have some massive legs by the end!
Tweetif the tendons are completely torn no injections will help other than inflammation wise. sucks being busted up and on the older side.

TweetNo doubt. Ive got tears in quite a few tendons in both shoulders, some are partial and Im hoping to regenerate enough to keep working and doing adapted workouts. I would get surgery if I could take the time off but thats not an option, unfortunately. 3 weeks post injection of PRF and its a little better. I looked into doing stem cells in Panama, then saw that it starts at $23,000. Stem cells are too big a gamble at that price. Have you known anyone who went for stem cell injections?
Yep age can catch up to us. I remember in my younger days having pain in my shoulders and just ignored it and kept training. Benchin, cleans, overhead presses... Full speed ahead. LOL Shoulder pain just seemed to be part of the deal. Now we really pay for it. Sheesh.
Tweetgotclen had stem cell treatment in his shoulders man. he doesnt log on much anymore but you can hit him up. he told me that the only thing it did for him was lighten his wallet and pretty much was exactly the same as it was before having it done.
fuzo had some specialized injections done i believe before his surgery if i am not mistaken. i cant remember what they were but i am pretty sure those didnt help him out either

TweetGetting old sucks. I've made a lot of adjustments to my training and diet over the years. I'm trying to do everything I can to keep going for as long as I can.

TweetDamn, ya, I knew a guy who paid $40,000 for stem cell injections and it didnt do anything for him. Im depressed enough over having both my shoulders demolished but it would be worse if I took out $40,000 and lit it with a match. LOL
Tweetyou got this
Tweetman I'm so sorry really I am fucking so sorry because I never I'm 50 years old so I'm probably around your age and I don't have these injuries but that's because for some reason when I was younger and I was bodybuilding I never pushed it where you was cuz I always thought I'm a bodybuilder I'm not a power lifter so I'm going to do this right and I'm going to do it later and more strict. my best friend was also a bodybuilder I'm like 5'6 at the time was about 190 lb he was 6'2 like 280 and I never seen anybody shrug so much weight in my life he would put so much weight on that Olympic bar that when he picked it up off the thing it would bend and he did that with every exercise and I even remember telling him that I thought we were bodybuilders And he was going to hurt himself and then forget about any contest this year. he just ignored me the thing about lifting heavy heavy weight like that is you're not impressing anybody but yourself and other men women don't give a fuck how much you left so why would you want to impress a bunch of other guys? anyway this friend of mine now is about my easy exactly my age I went to high school so he's 52 also 50 also and he is a mess he can't even go to the gym at all he can't lift weights he's had like five back surgeries I showed their surgeries like you said I mean more operations than I can even remember he's like a cripple at 50 years old so for younger guys you don't need to throw around tremendous amounts of weight to put on a muscle what you have to do really is to learn how to do the exercise and make it harder because you do it stricter and that way you don't have to use that crazy amount of weight you can make any exercise you do so much harder by being strict about it and you're going to get the same thing out of using say 40 lb dumbbells as you would use an 80 pound dumbbells and sort of cheating I'm sorry dude that this is going on with you though
