Tweeti think they are both the same but different tech. but both react in the body the same. my oldest had to get it for work and she got the moderna one and the second one fucked her up bad. we had to keep my grand baby because she had a fever cough and the whole 9 yards for a couple days. not to freak you out about it and i am not an anti vaccer at all and if you are at risk i would damn sure get it. a friend of mine on active duty got the virus early on then got the first dose of vac then got brutal sick on the second one. 2 months later he was in the hospital bad off from catching the virus again. it is insane at how different it affects everyone.

It's the effects on the heart and the facial paralysis that scares me, but damned if you don't get vaccinated and you're crazy if you do ? I've had Pneumococcal Pneumonia before and spent three weeks on a ventilator fighting for my life... at 55 now I don't think I'd be that lucky again... I also have a Mom that needs me now so yeah I'm going for it. Hey, as always I really appreciate everyone's advice !

TweetI've heard similar experiences from both. I know some who have gotten Pfizer and others who have gotten Moderna. Like Guns mentioned, I think the mechanism is slightly different but they do the same thing in the body. Some people are fine and some feel like crap after the second shot. A friend of mine got the Pfizer shot recently for work and the second dose made him feel pretty bad. He said he felt like he had the flu for a few days. I think the actual dose per shot for Moderna is actually higher than Pfizer, but due to the different mechanisms it may not be of any significance in efficacy. Both will cause your body to produce the spike protein giving your immune system a heads up on how to respond to it, so you'd probably be fine with either or.

TweetI had the Pfizer a couple months ago and just felt like crap a couple days like with the flu shot. I caught Covid last fall (pre-delta) and was able to fight it off on my own so just had something like a very bad cold for 4 days but had breathing issues for a few weeks afterwards which then cleared up on its own.

Tweetno shot. caught the delta and was put out 3 weeks, then took about 6 more to feel normal again.. weirdest shit i have ever felt.. that shit was no flu.. i personally know an individual who died 2 days after the second shot. mind you he was very old but never the less. i also know a twenty something nurse who has heart issues after the second shot.. every one else i know who has had covid or the shot is fine.

im not a fan of the force applied to receive the shot and the obvious media munipulation in regards to information thats being distributed.. im not antivax but if it smells like shit and looks like shit well...

most folks i know got the phizer as to its accessability . one got the j&j.

He took another 5 days later, still positive. I tested neg 2X on day 4 of my exposure and day 9. I never got a sniffle. Covid is my *****!

if it comes down to me being able to fly or actually do anything because i am not vaxed then i guess i wont be doing those things any more. last time i checked a vax is supposed to prevent disease. pretty sure that's how it works and not to mention i would like to have legal recourse for something that could possibly fuck me up or kill me esp if they require me to get it. so the gov and experts can go fuck themselves as far as i am concerned
