But, I've been looking at getting something nice to wear to work when we have big meetings, or out to a nice dinner, etc... I don't know anything about watches, so just researching now. I'm certainly not swimming in money at the moment, so I'm looking for something nice in a reasonable price range. (Few hundred bucks or so)

Bro, you can find some good deals at this site. I bought an ESQ for my brother for basically 50% off retail. It was just they discontinued the model and were getting rid of excess inventory.
