I have an electric dryer that does not cent to outside. There is a plumbing vent stack near. QUESTION Can I use the plumbing vent sack to vent the humid air out? Do I need to put a lint trap between the 2?

No lint trap if you are venting humid air. If air goes out then you must bring air in. Houses are not air tight but summer you pull hot air and of course winter....

it will work but will be a slight trade off.

I most likely use a 5 gallon bucket with water for the lint trap. Don't want lint in pipes

Bad thing about mine it is in a basement with poured walls and did not provide a place for the vent.

They make those vertical sheet metal vents you can use or rig a flexible 4" dryer tube to a window but your going to have to clean either out regularly. Dryers and water heaters are are high on the list for starting fires.
I don't have a basement nor know anyone with one so it's a new one for me really..

Client I work for has living on site quarters...
They use 4-5" pipe with a blower hooked to it in T curved to blow out.... A vacume in line is created drier to blower and blower blows lent out 20' thru one way spring loaded door.
My dad has same set up. Dryer to attict then 90° then blower in curved T. Blower makes vacume on drier side and blows rest out thru last 90° thru over hang...
      Really simple design.

The blower just needs correct for fittings to create vac then blow out.... distance matters where set too.
The lint never goes thru blower it's air supply outside pipining and blows direction out. Air is cool. Onky lint trap is in drier. Clean each use...
This is what is done here in South La
