It is chemical castration. A boy given hormones from a young age will not develop male parts so if he changes his mind later he will be left with a tiny little pickle, no balls and no way to get them working if he wanted a family.

Same with a girl given test and anti estrogens. She will grow up unable to have a kid and have masculine features for the rest of her life.

it is truly gross.
