A very long time ago I was a dog catcher. We got a call that a guy dumped poo on a citizen's front porch. I responded and they said they saw "that man" use his scooper, pick it up and deposit it on the porch. They were taunting the guy, yelling "you are about to get a citation!" and general nasty taunts.

I went across and the guy had a Polaroid pic of that person's dog crapping in his yard. He said he was just returning the property they left.

I could not argue with that so i went back and showed them the pic. The lady actually tried to grab it. I told them they can get a ticket for not picking up but the guy across the way is being a good neighbor and does not want to go any further. The steam was out of this couple's sails. never heard from either again.

the popo does it in my city and they will damn sure cite your ass the very first time and the fines increase every time they get you. i think the mayor or whoever pushes it hard to make more money for the city because they are insane with it
