I have one, I think it will kill mosquitoes but also attracts them with it's light. I still get bitten like crazy. It is just a bug zapper. Just has good marketing.

Best thing I have found is cutter yard guard. I spray my yard and the perimeter and my bites go down by 90%. I can tell no diff with the dyna.

That is good news about the oil. deet makes my head swim and feel funny. I just wear long hiking pants and a long sleeve fishing shirt. Both are pretty cool in the summer but keep the skeeters from getting to a patch of skin. They will bite your head and hands though.

Good to know about the Dyna trap. I was about to buy one. That will save me $150. I live in a very dry climate but it doesnt stop mosquitos. They are thick here. They will kick your ass. I go thru about 20 cans of OFF per summer.
