Just wondering what people have used. Not talking about expensive one time tests like dunking yourself in a pool of water, etc..I mean like skin fold calipers, electrical tests, etc.
I know a lot of trainers who swear by simple skin fold calipers. Ive never used those, I do own a Futrex machine which uses infra red to test but it seems to vary too much. Im thinking of getting some calipers and try it. The only drawback is if you use the Sloans method, you gotta measure on the subscapular region of the back and you cant do that by yourself.
