That is the biggest healthiest looking coyote I have ever seen! The ones we have around here are about 30-35#, long, thin and scraggly. That does look like part wolf, more than 15% to me. even the color.

Beautiful animal but what a nuisance.

When they have their pups they get bold looking for food...thats when you have to be careful..
It sucks having to keep such a close eye on the dog..lol. especially at night.

Trail cams are cool..scouting then setting up cameras to see whats out there is more fun than hunting itself..never know whats going to stroll by...

I got a few of them just for that. Racoons, pole cats, and even a doe licking the lens. just hope I don't catch somebody creepin' around the house. Thursday I'm going up to my happy place up in the Cascades, I'm hoping to get a Cougar or maybe the elusive Sasquatch.

We have urban bobcats here that live in suburbia. They eat squirrels, cats, small dogs, birds that congregate at bird feeders, opossums, rats and mice. Next time I catch one on my security cam I will post the vid. I got one carrying a huge roof rat one night down the alley.

They are bigger and healthier looking than their forest kin. I guess easier to find food here.
