Tweetmy first pit was a inbred ross red devil female she was 100mph and hell on wheels. she would wake me up at 3am with s squeaky toy. she would jump on me in the bed at 3am squeaking that toy.. you knock her off the bed she would jump back on it shaking it and ready to go again she was a trip never a dull moment. the male i had was a red devil/red boy cross he was laid back almost jumped out the window of my truck to go after another dog.. you never left your guard down with them

Haha lmao you said it man! That’s exactly what that look is saying and it goes for a lot of dogs especially my Great Danes(rip).

TweetThey Named her PICKLES at the rescue but that name met with mixed reviews. She answeres to Honey, Pickles and Smiley. We are probably going to name her Smiley. I got a dog named Happy and Smiley and Happy is pretty damn funny. Jack Lalanne had two white german shepherds, Smiley and Happy. So Im probably going with Smiley

My first dog's name was Smiley. Shepard collie mix. and she was the best dog. Happy Smiley, you cant go wrong there

She's been amazing. She is getting totally socialized around hundreds of people. I think she will be the perfect dog for this job of meeting the public everyday. I am a little worried about people who naturally fear the sight of a pitbull. Hopefully I can dispell some myths with the public. My dogs meet literally thousands of people a year.

You most certainly WILL dispell myths. Most people that fear or loath pitbulls have never been around one OR they have only had experience with someone's mishandled dog. Be an ambassador, socialize her educate people about their history good and bad and show them the deed should be punished, not an entire breed.

i wouldnt man. they shred them into shards and it can tear their insides up really bad. i wont give my dogs bones at all

TweetMy dogs jaws were powerful enough to bite/crush the cow bones and they would choke on the shards. So instead of bone like a femur I gave them the hip bone. It has like 3 big round options and they couldn't get a good enough bite on the rounded edges to break it up. They gnawed on them like slobbering zombies but never choked on pieces so I felt safe giving them that type bone. Bones from a butcher I would be concerned about bacteria if the bones had any meat tissue left and had not been kept refrigerated.

TweetI appreciate the info from you guys. I dont want that lady to bring the bones. I dont know her and she says she wanted to give me bones for all the stuff she said I did to save animals in this state. It was a nice compliment from her but I dont want to give my dogs bones from the buther. I do buy those cooked knucklbones from Tractor supply. They are hard round bones with some cooked meat stuck on it. They never splinter and they gnaw the hell out of them. I have read somewhere that those arent good to give to your dogs either. They sell rib bones at dollar general for $2. How about rawhide chews? I heard those are bad too but dang my dogs go ape shit over rawhide chews.
