Get the regular meal plan, not the upgraded one. It is a snack for breakfast like a chocolate milk and some pastry, a hamburger or such for lunch like fast food. Then a sit down dinner. Make your reservations before hand early and plan on being in the corresponding park so you can just walk to it. The liberty tree tavern in Magic kingdom is great for more than you can eat of some home cooking. Save room for johnnie appleseed cake. Also I can recommend the brown derby in hollywood studios. Rock n rollercoaster is there and it is a good one.

So you say 2 meals and a snack for breakfast? not enough. We mailed snacks and food AND BOOZE to the resort we stayed at. They hold it and then have a back pack to carry all your protein bars and such. The big meal plan you end up wasting tons of food or money as you will not be hungry to take advantage of it.

Second tip. Ask for an extra bottle of water in lieu of your lunch desert.

Spend a day at each park. animal kingdom and hollywood studios are awesome. I mean they all are but those were our favs. Don't miss the car stunt show at hollywood.

Park hopper passes let you go from park to park. We were happy he sprung for them.

Try to go back to the room and nap during the day so you can get out and watch the parades at night and not be falling asleep.

It has been 8 years since we went but it was BY FAR the best vacation we ever did. Our son was 12 so he liked the adult rides and the kids stuff the same. Never wanted to come home.

Again if you drink, mail your alcohol as it is wicked expensive there.

get you one of these backpacks. Small enough to fold up and put in your pocket, but big enough to hold hats, water bottles, snacks, HAND WIPES,and such. we tried our regular backpack the first day and it was too bulky and was super hot on my back. the little one was just right.

Plan plan plan. get your game plan before you go if you are looking to maximize getting to see everything. We saw most of it and we were there 6 full days but did not get it all. If you like winging it then do that. I have to have structure or I get anxiety HAHAHA. although by the end I just did not care. We were just having fun.

      Have fun man

We got the same info from friends who went and did not have all this info. They went back the next year with some of these suggestions and it made their trip better.

Mostly just enjoy. It was awesome, best vacation we have ever taken. I hope i live long enough to take some grand kids to Disney.
