TweetI rode my old beater bike growing up but it wasnt fast enough to escape the bullies. They would just grab me and pull me off and beat the shit out of me. Usually because I was the only white kid they knew who they could beat up.

Tweetlike jipped said we rode our bikes every where.. to a friends house to the local mall and every were in between.. i remember years ago my sister in law(brothers wife) said her son couldnt mow the grass because it was to hot outside.. i was like huh but my brother can do it when he gets home from work?
and this is her son who is now 29 and still living at home.. i talked to my brother last night and told him he was a better man then me bc i would have thown his ass out and if she didnt like she would be next. i will give my brother props they did make him pay rent but damn man grow up and be a man...
hell built my first house when i was 22 and my parentts didn't know it until 2 week before it was done.. guess thats just me and the drive i have..
Tweeta few years after the go cart we saved some more money and got a used YZ125 man that thing was a blast.. we could never get the gas mixed right and we burned up more pistons we lost count.. when you took that thing for a ride you rode with an extra spark plugs and a crescent wrench bc the plug would fowl out or we mixed the gas to lean and we'd burn the piston up.. thinking about it now we maybe needed to check the jetting on the carb it might have been to rich or to lean... that was my first in counter with LE i passed one coming home on a road he turned around to come after me i twisted that throttle and hauled ass home and pulled around the back of the house and hide the bike..
Tweetwe used to haul ass from a buddies house to an old practice race track back in the mountains on a state road. the law never messed with us if they ever saw us on the roads. we were hill billys so their were very few cops but they really didnt care either haha. we had to do the same thing though. always carrying extra parts and something was always breaking down on someone's bike. man we had a lot of fun growing up. i remember riding from daylight till dark and being able to hear those motors from the bikes in your ears for days sitting in school they were so loud. i am sure that was part of the start of my hearing loss way back when. no one used hearing protection for anything back then haha

TweetThe engine noise!! thats fuckin funny man. I remember the same thing haha. like going to a concert and being deaf the next day. We used to ride along the power lines. Town maintained a path for service trucks. I was giving some advice, ride only as far as you can push it back. Great advice LOL
Tweeti wish someone would have gave me that advise.. i pushed that thing back for miles.. didnt stop us after we got it fixed back out we went...wouldnt trade that for anything..
Tweetman, i lived in the freaking mountains where damn near nothing was flat and what was was only in short stretches. so pushing your broke down bike was extra special fun haha.

your right guns we never rode with anything. never owned a helmet or anything.. if the bike ran and on it we would ride...looking back at the crazy shit we did growing up surprise we're still alive.. between the dirt bike,go cart and running around the woods not caring about snakes or anything..didnt think that far ahead..
TweetI had a white Yamaha 125 Enduro when I was 12. Then a Penton 125, had a shitty sachs gearbox. Then a Bultaco 125, which was the badass 125 of the time. Then I got a HOnda 450 a couple years ago, what a dumb purchase. I rod it about 6 times and sold it
Tweetawe man I broke several dirt bikes jumping them lol. Y’all are right no helmet, shins getting beat up from the pedals, landing really hard while jumping and knocking your breath out lmao! I had a “Smokey and the Bandit” bike for my first bike! Yes I said Smokey and the Bandit ! Still have pictures of me when I first got it . Then had Huffy, Schwinn Predator, GT Comp, Dyno. No Haro Master though ☹️. And back then we had “3 wheelers” unsafe as hell! Roll over pick your self up and whatever body part you lost and rode again lol.
Tweetsmoky and the bandit and huffy lmao. jerry reed still cracks me up to this day. i had a bmx mask and no helmet and my uncle dared me to hit a little jump and jump over the creek. well i got a nice run and go off the side of the hill, hit the jump. i hit the jump and got launched over the handle bars landing on my face with a stump going through the mask and into my chin. not much protection from that thing but it look cool until i destroyed it the first day i had it. my uncle and i spent a couple hours figuring out a story of what to tell my parents and grand parents so we didnt get into trouble.

TweetAwe man Jerry Reed was awesome. Him and Fred lol. LMAO with trying to concoct a story about your chin
Tweetyears ago when my wife and her kids moved in with me they had a 4 wheeler.. it didnt run needed tires. electric start didnt work. i fixed the electric start got it running put some new tires on it and her son at the time was 10 and one day he told me he was bored i looked over at the 4 wheeler and said take that thing for a ride.. he looked at me and said by myself? i said yea why not.. i told him when i was his age and that sat in my garage i would be gone for hrs and days.. i would be stealing gas out my moms car the neighbors car to ride that thing.. there was miles of woods around as you can see in the pet post woods were all around..
i shook my head and walked inside the house...you would have to lock every gas can up when i was his age and had that thing..
