TweetHuh, oxygen deprivation while sleeping increases RBC count i guess?
Glad you do not have to worry about it anymore. thick blood ain't so good
TweetIt does make it thicker. My last blood test was good so far
TweetSleep Apnea is the primary cause to so many things. Your body works so damn hard while sleeping, when you have it. It is also another reason for bad night sweats

TweetI have the one that goes over the nose. Adjusting to it is really going to suck and take time. I have not slept on my stomach since getting one. Stick with it tho. It improves your sleep, heart, brain, all sorts of stuff your body needs oxygen for.
Tweeti have no choice man, the mrs says i am using it point blank period. the other kicker is if i dont use it and get caught i have to pay my insurance back. so.... i am using it not just for the health benefits but the fear of the mrs on both issues haha

TweetThe insurance thing is retarded but easy enough. They used to give you a sim card (older models) to mail in but now 99.99999% sure your machine will have own cell signal. There will be bars like a on cell phone display. It will upload your sleep to your doc that way. There are work arounds to all of that (google baby!) because at the end of the day they are just machines. But as you adjust i recommend getting to know your cpap then start with the hacks.
For your lady it will reduce your snoring, probably not eliminate, but a significant difference. And she wont have to kick you so hard to get you breathing again in your sleep. One last note, this is going to be a big adjustment for your lady as well. It's her sleep too. There will be negatives and positives for both of you. You are in it together.
Tweetyep the machine has the signal. cool thing with that other than them being able to bust us not using it, is we dont have to go in to the office for a visit as often. i will get used to it, i think i have it adjusted good now. still wake up multiple times a night though but better than crushing my heart even more than usual.

TweetI got 2 of them. I got 1 through my insurance that just fit over my nose, I didn't like it much it made my nose dry and it hurt.
I got 1 from VA I like it a lot. Full mask and I can wear readers with it to read in bed. I like it most of the 2.
