Hopefully this is within the rules I'm simply asking for input of how my lifting brothers deal with it. Very new to it been getting medicated for the wrong thing for a few years. So now the whole process, which one shall we do this week starts all over again. Pretty stressful trying to find the right fit

I appreciate your strength posting this. All I can say is most people are able to find the right fit sooner rather than later. I can't take any of that stuff. Yes it helps a lot but anything that is mood altering I have a tendency to abuse so I can't take it.

I have been off and on since I was 12. Off for the last few years. I have found a keto diet helps a lot although it is very hard to maintain 100% of the time. I take 2 grams of fish oil 2x a day. Also probiotics and maintaining a healthy gut may have helped, it is hard to say.

Wish you the best of luck. I just hate the sides. I feel sleepy-ish but cannot sleep while taking ritalin back in the day then vyvance which I hated. ritalin worked for me but not worth it. I just have to work 2x as hard to get 1/2 as much.

I wonder about adult onset ADD. I used to pick up a book and read the whole thing cover to cover in 2 days. Now I start books and dont finish them cuz Ive gotten distracted by something else. Its been frustrating. Or I read 4 paragraphs of an article and move on to the next thing. I think the digital society we live in now contributes. Its like there are so many damn things screaming for our attention that we dont stop to do one thing at time. We are almost in a continual state of multitasking. Like I Right now Im listening to a to a podcast while Im typing this.
