TweetNot too far from my house. I live in farm country which means this fire has no chance of ever reaching me. Im safe where I am but I have friends that are having to evacuate and leave their stuff behind. Its the price you pay if you want to live in the mountains.105 degree heat with no rain whatsoever and high winds blowing like crazy all night long is the perfect storm for the entire place to go up in flames. One fire covered 25,000 acres in one night destroying everything in its path. Good gawd

Tweetwatch for the air quality man. that smoke and other nasty stuff will mess you up bad. not to mention the wild life it will drive into your area. forest fires are terrible

TweetThat pic should become famous. Last night the wind kicked up and the smoke was so thick that you couldnt see and people couldnt breathe. The sun was blocked out and it looked dark outside. They are calling this one of the worst fires in history
