TweetYes and my phone knows when I’m going home because it will pull up maps pretty creepy
TweetRecently a girl was telling me she was at Dillards with a friend shopping for shoes. They began talking about a certain brand of shoes. Suddenly an advertisement pops up in her phone email for that exact brand of shoes.
Another guy I know said I sent him a photo of a bottle of CBD. He said he has been getting flooded with emails advertising cbd ever since.
Has any of this happened to you? Weird.
TweetYes and my phone knows when I’m going home because it will pull up maps pretty creepy
TweetYeah man it's actually kinda creepy. My boy was telling me about his friend and wife noticed similar things like we're talking about. So they did a experiment where they started talking about cats. Now mind you they don't have or want any cats. After a few days both of their Facebook pages were getting flooded with ads and things about cats. Emails as well. Just goes to show you that our phones are listening constantly! Fucked up though!

TweetDid you hear about the Amazon Echo Recording people for hours then sending the recording to contacts.
So much for expectation of privacy
TweetYou have no expectation of real privacy anymore in our digital age. I browse with duckduckgo which has no trackers on my PC but if you use amazon or ebay ect it will still send you ads. Faceboook may be the worst. I do not have one anymore
Tweetscary shlt ..
TweetMan I heard about that too. Crazy stuff. That's part of the reason I've never purchased anything like that. I'd always figure the damn thing would be on and recording everything that was going on all the time. I'm sure that can probably happen with my phone, but why make it easier.
TweetOf course they are!!!

TweetIt gets worse.
Back in 2017 numerous sources were reporting that many smart tv's were listening and recording conversations:
