TweetDamn. Good luck bro.
Tweetabout three weeks ago i started to throw up for no reason. i thought it was from stuffing my face all the time trying to bulk up. then one morning there was blood in my vomit and also in my solid waste. wemt to the ER and they scoped my stomach. they found a tear in the stomach along with a hiatal hernia (whatever that is). there were also black spots in my stomach, erosions of some sort. anyhow three weeks later i am still throwing up, no more blood however. but since there is no bleeding but i am still throwing up the doctor wants to scope me again and do a biopsy. i'm just a tad concerned here.
TweetDamn. Good luck bro.

TweetGood luck man!
TweetI have a hiatal hernia , and the reflux thing. I have learned what to eat and take rantinine. I hardly notice it now. Sounds to me like you had a bleeding ulcer. They can be dangerous, good thing you are not still bleeding. Let them scope and do the biospy. Don't panic, it will not help. Just follow your DRs. instructions. You will be fine.
Zilla
Tweetthere is no ulcer, that much is for sure. the bleeding was from a tear in the stomach lining caused from vomitting.

Good luck bro...I hope it doesn't turn out to be anything serious.
TweetJust a quickie reply til I get back from lunch.
I don't blame you for being concerned & I think you hit it on the head with bulking.
You've probably been overloading your poor tummy with alot of things that your body hasn't been able to digest properly because your immune system has been in overdrive to fight 'foreign' antigens.
It's most likely you'll hafta change your eating habits or this will continue to happen.
Tweeti had been eating like this for many many months now. and since this all began in my tummy i havent been able to eat as much so my eating habits have in fact changed. sometimes i can eat a lot and other times i take one bite and i am full. sometimes i feel like vomitting on an empty stomach and sometimes i feel like vomitting on a full stomach. its always different, very inconsistent.Originally posted by Sachet

Did you have blood work done?
I'm just wondering what your blood count showed.
Well, it may have taken 'eating like this for many many months' before your digestive system finally said enough already.
Ya know what I mean?
I wouldn't start getting very worried about the 'what ifs'.. because that's only going to make your stomach worse.
Biopsies are done to rule things out too.
When are you scheduled to go?
Tweetblood work was done and came back relatively normal, nothing to worry about. Going in on tuesday for a second endoscopy. probably nothing. on the bright side of things i have only worked three days in the past three weeks and i am still getting paid.Originally posted by Sachet
