Tweetwith all due respect, this teacher is a perfect example of snowflake liberalism. she was at a school committee meeting and the rules of said meeting include being recognized by the chair for a chance to respond. it was made clear this was not a question and answer meeting, she was asked to leave after she wouldn't stop questioning the reasoning for the superintendent's pay raise. the marshal asked her to leave, she kept running her mouth, then feigned she was leaving only to stop and continue her rant, a second time she was told to leave and again started for the aisle to leave, to again stop and continue to incite tension among her fellow teachers and the marshal again ordered her to leave. once outside she obviously was going to be arrested for public disturbance and as snowflakes usually do, probably belligerently told the officer why he had no right to arrest her and resisted and got what every person who resists arrest gets, taken down and forcibly cuffed. why should she get a free pass because she's a teacher, or a woman or anything else? you break the law, you get what's coming.
Tweet100% right! If this had been a student in her class the same rules would have applied or the student would have been asked to leave the class.
She is not above the rules.
TweetI usually do not even watch things like this but i feel this could have been handled in a different matter.

Tweetit absolutely would have been handled differently if the teacher hadn't tread all over the rules of the meeting. it was not up for questioning why the superintendent was getting the proposed raise. that had been discussed and finalized at previous open to the public meetings. she pulled the snowflake card of "i don't like what was publicly voted on and approved so i will go with volume and disorderly conduct."
when that happens whether you are a general citizen, a public official, a teacher, whoever, you are subject to the law. she had at least three opportunities to walk out of the meeting and just go home. you in effect spit in the face of LE you WILL be made an example of. no question.
Tweetyou know, i normally would say "free speech" but you are right. rules are rules. BUT......not a snowfloake, she did not say trans, female amputee midget teachers need safe spaces and white male teachers should all be fired.
TweetWhy? She broke the law! With intent to commit so enough said! Maybe the forum is wrong and needs change but at that moment she was wrong. Hope her cause was worthy of it and things change...if not? Well silly snowflake has a criminal record now!

TweetHere is the point here, I don't see where I even mentioned a side I was supportive of? Things like this put people on the defense... it's all good. Personally, I have, and still do sit on a board panel and have experienced people who want to use their voice during a closed forum. What we don't see in this video is what really happened from the point where she gets up, starts to walk out and then you hear scuffle and see her being restrained. The whole reason that I don't take things the media puts out as purely factual occurrences
