If you dont think you can completely obliterate your upper body with nothing but pushup bars then you dont get intensity. I took a pair in my suitcase last weekend on a trip and used them in the hotel room. I elevate my feet on the bed and just start doing full range pushups at a decent pace. MRI studies have shown those pushups work the upper body just like a bench press. So I look at it as a bench pressing workout. And when I go to failure, I start doing partials and keep going until I collapse. I might do anywhere from 2 or 3 sets all the way up to 8 . I do these at home several nights a week ..all the way to failure and beyond...Pushup bars are my secret weapon...
