Im seeing some of these cards will give you 20 months no interest. Which one is best?
I need a roof put on my house and was thinking this might be a good idea and then pay it off when I refi my house, but they wont refinance me until I get a new roof.
      Any info is appreciated.

my father does this. when the time is comming up he then transfers the balance to a new 0 intrest card, honestly i dont think he cares what card hes using at any given time as long as theres no penalties for transfering or paying it off.. hes bought all his cars this way

I agree with guage, as long as there is no early payment penalty. We always use 0 interest means to fund unexpected expenditures. We haven't paid a dime of interest in over 18 years. Wanted to buy our new truck all cash in 2008 but could get a better price if we financed part of it so we paid in full a couple months before the 0 interet period ran out. This works out great when you read the small print. Dzone, you are wise to get council from many sources. No wonder you are such a good businessman.
