Question-If someone gets a hair transplant and takes testosterone injections, are the hair plugs just going to fall out and you are left with the $10,000 transplant bill and a chrome dome?
Just curious. The donor hair comes from a place on your head that is never prone to male pattern baldness. Does this mean that they arent susceptible to DHT?

Was just thinking about it. I figured that as soon as I get my cars paid off, I can take out a loan and get hair. My attitude about hair has always been ef it, Im just gonna buzz it short and forget about it. But then I look in the mirror and I am starting to look like my dad. LOL There is a dr here who is friends with the guy who did sylverster stallones hair transpalnt.

Another thing that concerns me is that this dr highly recommends taking pro pecia /proscar and I have heard horror stories about that drug. Anyone have experience with propeca?

      Thanks Baby1.
Im going to meet with this doc and ask him if I can still keep shooting 500 mg test a week. If he says hell no, you have to stop taking testosterone, then I am going to say screw the hair, I need test way more than I need hair haha
If I do it, I will let ya all know how it goes

just keep in mind if you get the hair transplant you're probably going have to keep doing it every so often to keep up with your natural hair loss. and if you don't keep up with it and decide to shave your head bald you're going have a huge scar on the back your head.

dzone, if the doc is good, you wont see the scar. I have had clients who have done this too and you cant see the scar. Do your research and reviewing, like you always do.

i thought about it but is my vanity worth $10,000? nope, I could grow hair (albeit it has receded some) so I shave it with clippers 1X a week. cost my $60 for andis outliners which will last me forever and trim damn close.

I think you should shave your head and give it a test drive for 3 months, takes a few weeks to get your head tan HAHA. if you do not like it then you know that perhaps spending $10,000 may be worth it. but for that kind of $$$ I would want to be sure. Joe Rogan got the hair transplants and ended up shaving anyway. I could use that $ to buy an old MX5 and track it out for SCCA racing. or a nice older bass boat or a pair of year old jet skis.

BTW, ladies love to rub a bald man's head.............
