TweetWe get the boot here at our school from the actual college...the police have nothing to do with it...but that damn thing is impossible to get off....so If the college put the boot on, I would just say F it, and leave.
Tweetok, so it's not that urgent, but i dont' know what to do ...
I got a boot on campus at school for having no decal, and getting 3 parking tickets ...
now, i already took the tire off and just drove away, and tomorrow i can cut the boot of with a plasma torch. ..
but what are the police going to do? they have my license number, but will they press it that much? my semester is over
it'll cost me 200-300$ to have it removed, so should i say fuck it and cut it off my self and say taht there wasn't shit on my car and i drove home ...
what should i do?

i would just pull the thing off with my hands. thats me though.
Tweetwell your school prolly has campus police dont they? the problem with not paying it is that they will put a hold on your records and when you need to register for next year or get transcripts, you wont be able to do it until you pay your fines.Originally posted by gongshow

Tweetsee, here's the thing, i don't have a parking decal, so they don't bill the tickets to me since they don't know who i am ...
i can easily take the boot off, but i'm afraid they'll look up my plates and come find out waht happened ....
but i'm thinking i could just say that there was no god damn boot on my car and i didn't notice anything ...
TweetLOL!
I would just take the boot off, and fuck em.

Tweetyeah, but are the gonna come arrest me or something?
Tweeti had to pay 1100 bucks cuz of tickets from my school and got a boot, damm campus police have nothing better to do than to give out tickets all day. bastards. i feel ya though. just take the shit off urself lol u might get a fine thats it.
Tweeti think i'm just going to take it off myself and deny all knowledge of it ...
TweetCJ, not a good idea. If you mess up the boot and they find out who you are, not only will have to apy the fine, but you will likely have to pay for the boot as well. Who knows how much those things cost. Remeber, they have you tag number. They can find you. Even if they are dumb ass campus police.
Puck is right. They will likely freeze you transcripts if they find out who you are.
I say pay the $300 bucks, and quit parking on campus. Hell, you likely spent 4x's that much on your last cycle. I had to do the same thing in college. Mine was about that price too. Hell, I had a pal who had to pay $500+. I think most people have to go through this in college
Tweettorch the mother fucker or if you can somehow open it and reuse it put it on the police car.

Tweetmost likely campus police only took your plate numbers and no vin #'s, why dont you get your plates changed. here in canada it cost like $18. I keep running up my ticket at school and then i change the plates like every month
TweetThere's still a record of who those plates belonged to. Plates do not get re-used, that's why you have to buy them.Originally posted by BABY ARNOLD

CJ I'd be careful, you may find yourself paying for the boot as well as the fines. Here's what I'd do. It looks like the lock is a seperate unit, and made to be taken out. I'd just torch out the lock, then if they catch up to you, you only have to pay for the lock and not the whole boot.
