TweetI give a shit!

TweetI know no one probably gives a shit but I will express anyway. I spent a couple hours with my Dad yesterday. such a GREAT man to me, so smart, kind, helpful, strong and I could go on and on. He talked like many elderly people do when they get older. He has everything planned for when he is no longer here. He spent his whole life planning for that so Mom would be well, and us kids too. I have felt sad since he left my house but I will continue to celebrate mom and dad while they are still here for they have given me so very much. I can only hope I can be this great to my daughter

TweetYou are very lucky BABY and I know you realize it. Not all fathers are good men or even good people to their children. I wish I had the relationship you do.

TweetFamily is always a great thing baby ESP ur parents I miss mine ed
TweetToday would have been my fathers 65th birthday. I was blessed with an amazing family and childhood. My dad and I had gotten even closer towards the last few years of his life. It started with me getting my repair tech position because it gave us a ton of stuff to talk about that I had no interest in before. The next big push came when I became a father and finally once we bought our house. It was bitter sweet because of all those things being cut short. I appreciate you sharing. It is nice to hear others enjoying their families. Our lives run so fast all the time and we all need to remember the important stuff. Like others have said great parents will make great kids and I'm sure you're daughter will cherish her time with you guys as well.
Tweetgood for you to be able to spend time with your father.. spend it while you can.. like others have said good parents make good kids...
its also great of him to make plans for himself to be gone.. it will make things a lot easier for you and your family.. these are the last things you want to be dealing with we he goes trust me.. my wife had to deal with it with her father..just makes things more stressful..
TweetBless ur family !!!
Family really is everything !!!
TweetI think it's great. My dad has done whatever he could to provide for my mom. I'm a momma's boy but I have a ton of respect for all the hard work my dad did. Im glad for you Baby1!

TweetThat's awesome baby1!
My dad is the greatest man I know. He's been my hero since I was a kid and he's the reason I'm the man I am today. I pray I can be like him if I have kids some day.
TweetThanks guys and thanks for sharing your stories. I have been truly blessed by all the men close to me in my life, from my Dad, brother, brother in laws, uncles...to my best friend and love of my life, you know you who that is, lol. I guess when it comes to my parents, I am trying to prepare for what is inevitable...

TweetFuzo didn't have the chance to be around his Dad much, but when he Dad its good memories. The last time we saw his Dad was at the VA hospital 20 years ago, where he passed. My dad has been about the only one closest to him and he is more like his buddy.
