TweetBose has a good one too... But I only like ear buds personally. The beats sound great though!!
TweetSo last night, I am at Best Buy walking around with a set of $15 ear buds, ready to go pay for them, when suddenly, the Beats display caught my eye. Then 3 Best Buy employees came over to talk me into them, including one very cute girl who really worked me over into a set of Beats headphones. LOL...The nice thing is they price matched a lower price on line but still way too much money! Oh and a 15 day full refund policy help persuade me!
Oh well, I ended up with a new pair of Blue Beats when I intended to buy the cheapest headphones they had lol...Im trying to think of ways I can cut out some costs to justify such a ridiculous price for headphones.Maybe if I stop eating at Applebees for a month lol I sure am not using to spending that kind of money for this kind of stuff.
I will say, the sound quality is mind blowing compared to the $5 headphones I was using . I guess I look at it as a training expense.
But ouch, these things had better be worth it...
Anyone train in these headphones? My concern is they are going to be soaked in sweat and hot as hell on my ears lol Should I take them back or keep them?
TweetBose has a good one too... But I only like ear buds personally. The beats sound great though!!
TweetWe bought them for my daughter awhile ago. I think I use them more than she does, lol. I love them. I don't know about working out in them though? You work hard and deserve to buy yourself something. I am a music nut though so I like good sound. I think you will end up liking them

TweetBeats are actually quite cheap compared to some others in the same price range. Bose are bad ass and worth the $ there's also another brand in that price range that are excellent but I can think of them. Honestly return them and spend a little more on the Bose bro you will not be disappointed one bit

These monster isport ear buds are fantastic for working out, great sound quality super comfortable fit and they don't fall out. They come with a few different of the fucking finger looking things so they fit in your ear good and don't move. Carful running with them though because they shut out sound really good. I think I paid $100
TweetWell, my initial review after finishing my workiout in them is pretty good, thay stay on my head much better than my old earcandy phones. I can run around and jump up and down in the Beats and they dont move at all. Seriously though, I think the buds will be more comfortable and I might end up taking these back and getting some buds like Manny showed.
The beats get damn sweaty and hot and I am thinking in the summer they could be too hot to wear. Thats my biggest concern.
TweetGood call. The big headphones are great for at home or travel but are in my opinion to big and bothersome for working out. I highly recommend getting the same ones I have, they are a fantastic value and are great quality both sound quality and overall feel. If you don't go with these check out the jaybird x2 earbuds they are great for training as they will not fall out of your ears, they are more expensive than mine but are Bluetooth (best Bluetooth earbuds in my opinion) but downside of Bluetooth is the sound quality isn't the same as wired ones and that's why I got rid of mine and got these. Don't get me wrong sound quality is as good as it gets for Bluetooths with the x2's and is good overall but if you like emersive and deep sound wired is what you want.
TweetYep, this right here ^^
The sound is phenomenal, but I can't wear them while working out. They're hot and I sweat way too much.
TweetYep, I was thinking the same thing. I had to wipe the sweat off them after I worked out in them. They were soaked. Over time, that sweat is going to break em down and the ear pads will just rot off. Then what the hell do you do? lol
I love the idea that the Beats have a microphone and you can talk on the phone with them...Im assuming you can get the same feature with some buds, am I right?
One other thing I liked about the Beats is that they can go bluetooth cordless or can use a cord. My ipod doesnt do bluetooth so I need to have cord / cordless buds if they make them.
Well, I am going to take these Beats back to best buy get some buds on Amazon for way less...In the meantime, I will go back to the Skullcandy ear cans that work just fine
Thanks for the very helpful input on the topic.
TweetOnce you go bluetooth it's tough to go back. I can't handle the cords!
I have had some good sets though when in the middle of reps the cord catches and rips the buds out of my ears. I get pissed and use the rage to push out a few more reps, haha.

TweetReading this while I sit in the truck with the Bose system on full blast, lol. You can't go wrong with BOSE anything. When we bought our truck last year, the sound system was priority for us. Spend the money dzone, it's worth it

TweetARE THE BEATS HEADPHONES REALLY WORTH IT? SOUND QUALITY WISE??
TweetI sweat so bad I have to stick to the ear bud styles.
TweetI have the wireless beats ear buds. I asked for wireless headphone for Christmas and that's what hubby surprised me with. I am the type to spend $5-15 on headphones but he went all out! I really really like them though! The sound quality is great!!
