what really moved me was the way Fred interacted with the child. There was a genuine sense of care and respect. Also the way the young man was able to smile and be a vessel of hope for others. The video instantly blew me out of my ridiculous self motivated concerns and problems and put in perspective what one person can do for another with a little compassion.

TweetI just read his bio on Wikipedia. What a nice guy. He went to school to become a preacher but then was bothered by the what TV was showing kids so he wrote, produced, composed the musci for, and played in the Mr Rogers Neighborhood show. I only wish I were as compassionate as him.

TweetI had to stop and come back and watch the rest, i couldnt help get choked up. I wish they still played his shows on TV, he has a calming effect on people. Not even being in the room, just through TV. I used to watch him all the time when i was young.
