I honestly wouldn't have known had you not mentioned it. Where is the actor from? They probably chose him because he looks very similar to the real Escobar, but I know what you mean. I just couldn't tell because I can't distinguish the different dialects of the Spanish language very well. He does a good job acting though imo. I'm too busy reading the captions to notice much of their speaking..lol.

He's from Brazil. They speak Portuguese which is nothing like spanish. I'm just one of those guys that notice small details in shows and movies. I knit pick the fuck out of car movies lol mainly because I'm a mechanic. But yeah I think the show would've been better served if it was all in English and they cast an English speaking actor rather than having parts be spoken in spanish with someone that doesn't speak it naturally.
