      It has been a long time since I've bought a gun or ammo. I'm out of the loop as to the laws if they have changed or anything. Can you order bulk ammo online or is that legal???

      I got a .380 and I'm going to buy a AR style rifle soon, so I'm really wondering about 5.56 and .223 rounds.

      i think you can in most states, in cali and illinois they have some city codes that make it illegal.

      rifle ammo may be different than pistol ammo too. check out ammo to go. great place. bought my 5.56 there. also freedom munitions for great reman ammo

      As long as you don't live in one of the strict states like CA, maybe MD too, and probably Illinois. I know I can order ammo online where I live, however I don't do it because we have gun shows that sell it at great prices.

      just don't get that crap poly coated russian stuff, talk about a gooey mess to clean after shooting. i have used the zinc coated steel case as my AR has forged internals. it shoots good. would not use steel case in any pistol
