TweetUpdate on the story. It has turned out so good. So, the girl I had to fire is 27 years old, unreal physical beauty , humble demeanor, quiet lives at home with her mom and dad, She seems to have men falling at her feet but she shuns them and says she is committed to God and family. At work she Seemed to do just barely enough to get by and keep things running . She even admitted to at times being totally distracted by events in her personal life, She is a good person and so tonight, I left her $100 and note and said hope it helps you a little at this time. Itexted her and told her it was there, I said That Im here for her any time she needs me. She texted back thank you and that she was in church worshiping god. Thats nice. She is a good girl. Young and seeking guidance. Maybe immaturity? maybe so. I hope she gets inspired like the girl who replaced her. So I think I did everything I could do as a boss to help make it easy for her. She is most definitely wondering how I would ever be able to figure out all the details of her job without her showing me or someone.. But, she probably doesnt know that she got replaced by a woman twice her age with drive and energy unseen before , who refuses to give up. Im not going to lie, It was very scary to cut all ties to the former employee. It was almost like she had me by the nuts and knew it. But little did I know that an all pro caliber person was ready to step in and shake up the world.
It is just incredible how this new girl appeared out of nowhere. Last monday, there I was, wondering what the hell I was going to do, a girl walks into my office with her resume and it turns out she worked for me many years back. I said step in and see what you can do in 2 hours and we will see if I should hire you. Well in the course of only 5 days she turned a part time, 20 hour a week job into a 40 hour a week job through sheer grit and determination. That woman works non stop from the minute she walks in the door to the minute she walks out. Microwaves her lunch and eats at her desk so she can keep working. She is much older and has a 5 year old adopted son and a husband ...Yes, she has things soaring and we are breaking records in her first week on the job. ...It is unbelievable what new energy can bring and a woman with absolute integrity and will power to work on anything until it is done. I remember her. She was the first employee I ever hired. She was incredible then. She is the real deal. I dont quite remember why she left, she claims I fired her. lol I probably did, I was young and was always out chasing women when I wasnt at work, and made some dreadful mistakes in business.Firing her would have been one of them lol
Any way, The new girl said to me on her second day on the job "I hope you can handle it because I am going to double and triple your business. You had better be ready!" I was impressed with such bravado. She is a very humble looking girl. Almost grandmotherly looking. Plain looking, not ugly, but not someone who guys are going to look at. I dont mean that in a bad way. But she has a charisma about her ...Just enormous energy. Working, with sweat dripping down her face. Literally. I already bonused her an amount that I havent paid out in months. In her first week on the job!!! There is no task that that woman cant handle with enthusiasm. wow. I cant even tell you what it is like to have someone like her. This girl stepped up to the plate and knocked the ball into the upper deck with her first swing of the bat. Crack! Home run!. Just grateful, thats all I can do
