TweetIt's one of those fucked up things of exploitation, he's got $ he goes oversees to a poor country and pays some people to facilitate the hunt for whatever animal on that particular day. Should he be prosecuted? I think so. I think more so though these countries need to start fucking cracking down on the scum bags that are taking these rich privledged people on these hunts weather in a protected zone or not because some of these animals that are being hunted are endangered. Same goes for cracking down on poachers.

Side note, if I'm not mistaken I believe the US is investigating this matter, not sure what might come of it though.

Im sorry to offend any hunters, but anyone who shoots an animal for no other reason than put a head on the wall is sick. They said the dentist shot that lion with a bow and arrow and then pursued it for 40 hours with an arrow stuck in it. How in the hell is that in any way manly?
They said the dentist is hiding out and cant go to work because of the death threats. Well, maybe he should have to move to fuking africa

TweetI dont believe in killing anything you dont eat. I hunt ,but I only shoot what I can eat and will eat. Killing a lion, the only good reason I see for that is if they are over populated in that area, it can cause the animals to get sick if there are too many. That has happened with deer and wild boars where i live, in the past.

I cant see why he spent all that money to go shoot a lion, when e could have done something else with all that money. Feed a child or something.

But first I want to say is why all these hunters post their kills on social media! Why the fuck entice a riot? This is their biggest mistake! Make your kill, stuff it and put it in your parlor room for your buddies to see! The idiots don't learn. We live in a society where people love animals more than mankind so doing social media kills is dumber than dumb!

Ok the flip side is this. These preserves count on $ to keep the animals safe, pay security, protect the populations so they sell a hunt to rich peeps for hunts that would have to be done anyways. This has to be done over population is a real issue and if balance isn't kept than it's fatal to the whole Eco system.

Like I said I agree with you guys because A) he's a dumb ass and advertised it on social media & B) there's some shady shit as to how this lion was killed!

But as a whole I just wanted to give the other side of the coin.

TweetReminds of the time I stayed at this huge lodge up in the mountains of colorado. You walk in and it has huge vaulted ceiling with hundreds of animal heads of every kind. The worst was an enormous elephant head. Then below it was this huge blown up photograph of this pos posing by that elephant with the rifle he used to kill it. Big smile on his face, like "Hey, look what a badass I am"...What kind of skill does it take to walk up to an elephant with big rifle and blow it away? Pathetic.
