TweetOk I will admit that when I saw this entire video it did bring tears to my eyes..
An 11-Year-Old Boy Holds Salute. Who Decides To Join Him Moved Me To Tears. - He’s only eleven years old, but already has touched millions with his heart of honor and respect for those you fought and died for their country. During and official D-Day celebration, this boy took his American flag down to Omaha Beach and began to salute while holding his flag in the sand. Staring out into the ocean, he imagined all the soldiers bravely fighting and losing their lives for freedom. As he stood alone, he began to draw the attention of others until eventually a lone trumpeter joined him making the scene all the more real and moving. After over an hour though his knees began to buckle and his hands began to cramp he stayed strong until the moment came when he raised his right hand to signal he was ready to say goodbye. What in incredibly touching tribute!

Tweetthat is incredible. that kid and his family are a huge inspiration that should be emulated
my personal opinion is this about educating our youth about our military and the sacrifices that have been made. since they try to indoctrinate them in politics and other bs so much let's toss that out completely and replace that garbage with more than a day or two on wars and people that fought those wars. not the modern day stuff where we volunteered to serve our country but the men like during this period who were drafted and sent off to fight for our country. it gives you more of a respect for what rights you enjoy on a daily basis when the people that once protected them were not given the choice and many of those same people didnt even get sent home to be buried.

Tweetthat was moving. so many young people today do not get it. passive and weak they want "entitlements" and do not understand hard work.
those men and women of the WW2 era were toughened by the great depression, were not afraid of hard work and believed this country was the greatest and these people had honor.
God bless them, as i am sure he has in Heaven
