Damn, have never had this happen.
I had a two hour drive to get home, Im heading along the interstate hiway and the snow was so heavy, visibility was about zero. Traffic was very heavy, bumper to bumper traffic. Road was a sheet of ice covered with snow. The conditions could not have been any worse. I couldnt see anything to the side of me except white and couldnt see too far ahead...suddenly I see tracks going in circles in the snow where cars had just spun out...suddenly I see cars spinning out all around me, the car in front of me slides sideways and stops, I start pumping the brakes but my truck went sideways on the ice and I saw I was going to slam into that car so I braced for impact..BAM....then my truck is going to the guard rail BAM I am sitting perpendicular to the oncoming traffic,I see cars heading toward me on the ice, miraculously they didnt hit me, I throw my truck into reverse and turn it south and was shocked that my truck was still driveable. Conditions were too horrible to even think of pulling off the side of the road...I look in my mirror and see cars scattered every direction on the hiway...Im guessing 12 cars or more were involved..I kept going until I got home. Door of my truck is completely smashed in and I just found out my deductible is $1,000. Oh well. Turned out to be a very expensive trip. I guess in some ways Im lucky. But shit
