Tweetso i was a type 2 about 7 years ago on metformin but through diet and exercise i got my a1c under 6 and kept it their, but it has gradually crept back up it is 6.4 now and my doctor said he wanted to put me on some meds to help, not metformin cause of my kidneys, kinda bummed to have lost that fight but it will make it so i don't have to be so strict all the time. ahh i love getting older lol

Best of luck with that! My Mom has it too so I know about those A1 scores. You haven't been on any recent steroids have you (non anabolic)? She has been on prednisone for a few months and that bumped up her A1 score.
What kind of med is the doc putting you on?

Tweet glipizide is the drug. he wants me to take it in the morning, i think that is a bad idea since i eat and train, after the gym would seem smarter
