A bad morning that turned into a good one threw prayer
Insurance..... Got a knock at the door at 1AM last night. Our neighbor said she saw some one hit our car parked in the street and take off. Messed up the door pretty good and the bumper. Worst part is they just peeled out and you could see from the tire tracks in the snow they were driving batsh!t crazy. I just hope they didnt get hurt or hurt anyone else on the rest of their trip. I'm pissed but its just a car. All about karma.
That the hell of 2015 is finally over. Trying to start fresh and anew and not carry the baggage forward. Will be hard, was a horrific year for me, emotionally and spiritually.
A perk of being an association board member., using the property clubhouse! Had a nice party with 10 little girls(who are still sleeping),and when I opened the door and looked at the big room....I do believe a tornado passed through here, lol. They had so much fun and there is no better way to spend NYE for me
Jesus, Gods word, love, humility, family, coffee, shelter, food, clothing, heat, running water, a warm bed, our home gym, my coach, friends who care and pray for us, and this day.
Family
Three day weekends
Spending this three day weekend with my family. My wife, 11 year old and I played a board game called Pandamic where we work to save the world from a deadly virus. Really cool game. Its really neat as the kids get older how the relationships I have with them grow and change. They are all so different and I am just really blessed to be a part of their lives.
Music, and the massive changes the right song can make.
plan and simple .Grateful for another day on this earth
I got to spend the morning with some good friends who are not a whole lot like me. It's a good thing for myself to get different perspectives. I tend to get stuck thinking that my view is the only view or the "correct view". I'm not talking about politics or religion but just life and values in general. It was a great way to start the day listing to people that have been in my situation and look at things differently.
The theme for my New Years Eve party was "Fuck 2015, Fuck Yeah 2016!" We all took turns taking a shot (I was the DD, so my shots were Pepsi Max) then airing a grievance about 2015. The plan was to let the grievance be heard publically by all and therefor it loses its power and vanishes as the sound of voice uttering it vanishes. It was interesting to hear so many people had the same grievances I did. Betrayal by those close to us seems to be a common 2015 problem.
Getting back to work and the into the normal swing of things again. I loved my time off with the family but I am the type of person that enjoys structure.
